Florida House in the Nation’s Capitol
Florida House, on
Capitol Hill, is Florida’s Embassy in Washington, D.C. A new collection
of Florida books has recently been added to the Embassy’s library. Each
title in this unique array of books has been specifically chosen for
The Graham Cracker Collection, which honors Florida’s
former governor – Senator Bob Graham.
The
Osceola Community Club, with its Florida “Cracker”
backdrop and 1950’s Florida “Cracker” vignettes, fits wonderfully within
The Graham Cracker Collection.
Interestingly, the
novel having fifty-four Florida recipes within its pages has resulted in
one of those recipes “Graham Cracker Loaf” becoming the signature
Graham Cracker Collection dessert of choice – ideal for
serving at the many functions and activities connected with Florida
House’s Graham Cracker Collection. When packing for the Graham
family reunion of 2005, Bob Graham’s wife, Adele, tucked into her tote
bag a copy of The Osceola Community Club.
